another project that kept me busy during the holidays.

onken with iwata ( a copy from idol chuckyboy) being tested before delivery.

the owner who is also a member here is not yet decided on what tweeters to finally use in his speakers. shown with beyma cp25 tweeter courtesy of oca imperio.

Wow! Ganda talaga ng wood grain at finish ng combo onken at Iwata...anong kahoy ang ginamit mo dyan?....tulo laway!....isang araw matutuloy din ang pagpagawa ko sa yo ng horn at onken...kung dito mo gagawin yan, mahina 2k dyan...export mo dito?

box made from mdf with dao wood and marine ply outer panels, and with rollers hidden under narra skirts. components are: altec 414 woofer, le cleach horn to be driven either by altec 802d or 806 compression woofer, and jbl 075 bullet tweeter (not yet shown with its le cleach inspired extension horn). will either be passively (6db) or actively crossed.

for size reference, the ceramic floor tiles are 12" x 12".

The altec 414 is a 12" woofer. Fs is 25hz. No need of a sub when used in the right box.

Bambi congrats on these very fine drivers. I think these are AMT1 mid/high driver developed by the great Dr. Oskar Heil. :clap: :clap: :clap:

Couple of years ago, I did a little tweeter adventure and sampled 5 different tweeters (mostly vintage variety). I settled on AMT2 and finally on its big brother AMT1's :rock: :rock: :rock:

somewhere in kalookan.

27" le cleach horn with onken. components are altec 416 woofers, 291 compression drivers, and jbl 2405 compression tweeters. nice mango wood for the horn. amugis for the front baffle. both have nice grains.
