I guess the location would depend on what people are bringing. If its just our portables rigs, a coffee shop "might" do fine.

But, if people are bringing their home rigs,a hotel room? I have no clue on how we'd go about it though. :?:

if its purely portables, we can probably do it in a coffee shop, better one with a second floor so we wont get funny looks from the staff

hotel room sounds like a hassle, lets shoot for something we can get for free.

if anyone is willing to volunteer their place, it doesnt necessarily have to be in makati

Our training center at Antel in Valero has a pantry that can accommodate 30 pax. This was also the venue for the previous Wiredstate Tubes 101 session.

Let me know day and time. Bring your own coffee :D Starbucks in front of the building. Italian resto IL PONTICELLO on the 2nd floor of the building.

nice!

venue is available, many thanks to sir arnold for volunteering :)

now comes the hard part, when?

let's have it on a weekend, how about March 3? this should give folks enough time to hear about this and order some new stuff ;)

btw, i noticed we can have two of the same amps (ex xtra x-1), if anyone has some spare XLR and RCAs lying around, we can setup a bridged connection to have a balanced setup  we'll just need XLR to 2 x RCA cables.

I could probably join, but since most of the headphones I have are already on the list, I could probably bring my Grado SR-225s and Senn 280 Pros

Just have a problem with the time. I have classes up to 4 on Saturdays. :(

So, how does this work anyways? We just gather around and listen to each others setups? Anyone want to do a couple activities? CD raffle? :D

How about those who are bringing CD sources? Should we bring out own transformers, extension cords and whatnot? :?:
